K9 Nail Caps have multiple purposes: (1) help your furry friend avoid slipping and sliding on hard surfaces like hardwood and tiled flooring, which is achieved by increasing the traction of each individual nail and improving overall dog’s mobility; (2) prevent scratches to household goods and surfaces, as well as avoid injuries caused by pet’s nails to themselves, their owners, and others; and (3) assist in training to eliminate bad habits such as scratching and digging.
K9 Nail Caps are made of a rubber-like material with great flexibility and durability. The unique design allows them to easily twist onto the dog’s nail and stay securely attached. Each set of 10 or 20 caps is custom 3D printed to order. The size is indicated in the center of the set matrix.
Sizing
To choose the right size, measure each nail by wrapping it with a string and marking where the string overlaps. Then, measure the string length with a ruler. Choose the smallest size that matches the string length in the sizing table. When the caps are sized correctly, they fit snugly, and some force is needed to pull them off. If you are not sure what size you need, we offer a sample that includes one cap of each available size.
Application
Separate each cap from the set matrix using scissors. To attach, twist onto each nail by gently rotating clockwise. To remove, simply pull off starting at the edge closest to the nail root or twist off by rotating counterclockwise. The caps should be worn on nicely trimmed nails.
